Your next step follows what you know.

Start with what you know. Fresh checks help you move ahead or revisit an idea, with hints counted separately from work you completed on your own.

The answer changes what comes next.

Different answers need different help.

  1. Find your starting point.

A placement check can help identify ideas you already understand. You can move past familiar ground and spend time on what still needs work.

  2. Keep help in the picture.

An answer reached with a hint is useful evidence, but it is different from an independent answer. plue keeps that distinction when choosing a fresh check.

  3. Take a smaller step when needed.

If an idea is still difficult after repeated attempts, the next move can return to earlier teaching. A new explanation comes before another try.

Learn on your own terms.
